I’m slowly reformatting old lessons and unlocking them (or trying to) so they are available for free. Feels good to me and it’s what I want to do.
If they’re still locked it’s because there’s an actual substack glitch where if you were an early user, because of setting changes and things I don’t understand, I can’t change the settings on certain posts.
I’ll figure it out.
I’ve also changed the formatting and you may notice it’s now found at thespellingstudio.com
Included are sections:
S2CSESSIONS: Pretty self explanatory. I offer S2C sessions locally in San Diego, and virtually for people further away. I keep my practice very small but plan to expand this time next year. I enjoy working with all my clients but especially have fun with younger clients.
THEEXPERTS: Hear from nonspeakers. It’s easy for forget to listen and important to continually engage, involve, and listen to nonspeakers themselves.
MAGICPENCIL: My personal blog. I think in words and words are really all I have. I believe in the power of words, delight in helping people bring inside words to the outside, and hope to explore different topics I find super interesting in this section.
THECONTENT: Free S2C lessons. A lot of these are still in the old format but totally usable. I really enjoy writing lessons and want people to be able to use them.
INNERWORLDS: My world is filled with amazing, capable, interesting people and I’m so curious about the different ways we all see the world. A catalyst for this was learning more about aphantasia, memory, and synesthesia. I have my own personal inner cocktail of things going on and until recently I didn’t know how different it really is than the majority of other people. It’s science. With a dash of mystery.
That’s what I’ve got for now.
